Follow these easy steps to get your Zanussi ZBA 6230 Refrigerator up and running in no time.
Before installation, inspect the appliance for any transport damage. Do not install a damaged appliance. If damage is found, contact your retailer.
Install the appliance where the ambient temperature matches the climate classification on the rating plate inside the appliance. Ensure it stands against the interior surface of the unit on the side of the door hinges.
Fasten the appliance with the 4 screws provided in the kit. Ensure that it does not stand on the electrical supply cable.
After installation, leave the appliance for 2 hours to allow the refrigerant to settle before turning it on.
Clean the inside of the appliance with a mixture of lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Avoid using soap or detergent as they might leave a lingering smell. Dry thoroughly.
Ensure the appliance is earthed. The plug must be easily accessible after installation. If the fitted plug is unsuitable, it must be replaced with an appropriate plug.
Use the thermostat control knob to set the temperature. It has 6 temperature positions and an 'OFF' position.
